Just in case one of her girlfriends needs one she has an extra! I don't really know, however, it sounds suspicious, if she is in a committed relationship their is really no need for her to be carrying around a condom in her purse while out on a girls night out. I would question her motives behind this one. Just ask her how would she feel if the situation were turned around and you were the one carrying around the condom for the guys night out! you're right, in case of what?! drunkeness can lead to bad decisions and can possibly make your morals a little less strict. many people blame infidelity on having too much to drink and things going to far...but it's like anything else, an excuse. a sad one too. it just doesn't sound like something i would ever do if i had a relationship, if it was like a 'joke' or 'superstitious habit' between her and the girls...maybe they could forego it for your sake. you obviously care. the only other thing i honestly can possibly think of, and this is terrible but i'll throw it out there, is in case of unwelcome advances (ie rape or molestation) if you have a condom you might loose dignity, pride and a great deal more- but she might convince the attacker to use it and she at least won't suffer an STD or worse. sorry i can't think of why!

Well i had one in my purse and after i found my husband, well i just forgot it in there. It very well could be just in case something happens. If shes in college and has girls nights out like that it could very well be she isnt looking but he shows up. Well good luck!

Yeah, "in case of what" is right. You don't just trip and land on some guys thing, so unless she's planning on asking a rapist to use a condom before he rapes her then she's full of it. "Just in case" only happens if you want it to. Sorry dude.

no, the reason is that incase she goes out with u and u two decide to go at it and u don't have one, she does...it's a great idea...she probably keeps that condom there in her purse even when she isn't having a girls night out...u know...girls carry their purses everywhere...it's just a good idea to always have one with u if u r sexually active(she is with YOU!)

If all her friends do it, then she may be carrying them just in case one of her friends gets a hookup and forgot hers - then the friend will have no excuse to have unsafe sex. It's possible that they are just out to protect each other.
