It seems that some Evangelical Christians are using the report link to stifle any views that conflict with their own. Are free thinkers really America's new heros?

There are certainly some people who feel their view is the only valid view, and the rest of us should parrot them mindlessly.

But these people seem to come in all shapes, sizes, and religious viewpoints.

Not true! Do more research! I am a born again Christian and have been reported numerous times and have had many questions deleted. Just take a look. Also, I have had my account deleted and had to make up a new one. No, it is not just the Christians doing the reporting. Muslims are also great for this type of thing, as most of the answers I had reported had to do with Islam, oh and I won't forget the Catholics either.

We are indeed Americas new heroes, So if you already have your badge of honor wear it well.

My questions and answers get removed so often that if a day goes by without a violation notice I think something is wrong with either Yahoo or my computer.

Free thinkers are the world's heroes. The badge of honor you're asking about is the account deleted feature. You know, when they slam you out of cyberspace.

This is the liveliest area in Y!A. Nowhere else do people report or rate answers as much as here in R/S. To a fault, I might add. I think it gets out of hand, like this question, simply, What is your religion? People found it necessary to rate the other participants answers! What the hey?

Stereotype lately?

I am an Evangelical Christian and I give the thumbs up to any INTELLIGENT answer. Even those that don't support my view.

Weird, isn't it? I get reported all the time simply because people don't agree with my point of view or simply don't want to hear my point of view at all. If you really feel like you haven't violated any of the wussy Yahoo rules then respond to the violation notice. Not that it will help....

Yes, it's a badge of honor. Print it out and pin it to your shirt and show it to people at the bus station.

*sigh* It happens to us all. Though I don't believe I'm considered an Evangelical Christian. Oh well, consider yourself to be one of the "club" in R & S.
