Everybody suffers from bad breath. Breath freshening mouth washes, mints, or lozenges only provide relief for a few minutes, so this isn't the best way to cover the odor. Mouth washes containing antibacterials are the best way to get rid of the odor. Avoid rinses with alcohol in them, this will worsen the problem because it's a drying agent. Rinsing your mouth with hydrogen peroxide [10 ml/2 tsp] may temporarily relieve bad breath. It's a powerful oxidizer, which kills bacteria. Brushing your teeth and flossing removes rotting food in between your teeth. You could also try gently scraping your tongue with a tongue scraper. If you don't have one, you could use a teaspoon. If you have a dry mouth, this can trigger bad breath. Chewing sugarless gum produces saliva, therefore helping cover bad breath. Parsley is also a natural breath freshener. Some studies have shown that eating yogurt, drinking green tea, or chewing cinnamon or sugarless cinnamon gum can reduce bad breath

If you're getting worried about having bad breath, you're not alone. Many people have bad breath, but others just don't want to say anything. A good way to cure bad breath is to take your toothbrush and put some water on it, next take a carton of baking soda and put it on the brush. Brush your teeth with this twice a week followed by some mouth wash will do wonders, and it will make your teeth whiter, so it's a plus. The baking soda is non-abrasive so it won't hurt your enamel and it is designed to clean and remove odors. Everything else can be managed after you get your cavities filled. I guarantee you will notice a difference within two weeks of using baking soda along with normal brushing/flossing/mouth wash etc. You'll be minty fresh in no time! Cheers!

it is caused by one or more of these:
1 - bad dental hygene
2 - poor diet
3 - smoking/drinking

Work on them all and you'll be OK. With teeth, brushing regularly is not enough, the bits that stink are the leftover food stagnating in between your teeth. Floss, and use an interdental brush after every meal. Then use mouthwash. Brushing your tongue won't do much, but that theory is in vogue right now. Clean between your teeth.
Also, a bad diet will mean the stench of semi-digested foods which can't be broken down by your stomach acids will be passed up. No amount of brushing will hide this. Improve your diet.
If you drink, change to vodka. If you smoke, stop. It stinks.

ewwwww.... bad breath is stinkkkiing. no offence meant. my mom says that my great grandmother would go out to the gardern after every meal and eat a bunch of parsley so that her breath didnt stink. im sure it works. personally i cant stand the taste of parsley but maybe youll like it. make sure you brush morning and night. some people might say make sure you brush for 3 min or something but guess what.... those 3 minutes wont matter if you dont do it right. make sure you do a good job. flouride first (protects against cavities)... then brush... then floss... then rinse. pretty simple. just takes a little self-determination. oh yeah... dont forget your tongue.... its supposed to be pink... not white. happy brushing... hope it works. if you do all this gum or mints will keep it fresh.

Good dental hygiene -- brush twice a day, floss (believe me, flossing actually helps a lot -- and use that Glide floss -- it's a lot smoother on your gums). Take a toothbrush and brush the gick off the back of your tongue -- that stuff smells.
Mouthwash if you really want to impress a girl.
Don't do things like eat onions and garlic.

Depends where it is coming from. Like smokers breath. That stench is coming from the air coming out of their lungs. Nothing can be done for that. Smell from the mouth, well, anything for that from brushing to gargle.
