kickboxing helps more with cardio, stamina, toning and some strengthening, but if you're talking about definition, then NO not really, because to achieve that level; you'd have to do some resistance training (weightlifting).
other then that, you're good to go. the kickboxing is good mostly for the cardio workout that it gives you, the heavy workout helps to burn the calories and the movements you use will strengthen and tone but you won't build a lot of muscle*.
*that's where the strength training would come in, because you have to "tear" or break the muscle down before it can rebuild itself and become stronger cardio workouts don't do all that much in that respect.

The only stupid question is an honest one that wasn't asked. Your answer lies in what you define as "masculine." Practicing any form of martial arts is a workout. Weightlifting to build muscle mass is more likely to give you what you don't want.

hahaha don't listen 2 these guys that don't want u 2 do martial arts because there afraid that u'll beat them up kick boxing is done by many women 2 get fit and toned NOT masculine if u have ever seen dukes and hazzards with jessica simpson she did kick boxing 2 get how she was... not saying ur automatically going 2 get like her but u will not get masculine just by doing kick boxing the girls that do it in my gym r ... well they look pretty good.

my suggestion is girl has better exercises to lose weight than playing games.. playing games especially like kick boxing never reduce ur fat. u need do special exercise seprately even to play boxing.bcos only ur hand will work greatly in boxing, neither ur legs nor u stoach will be pressurized. so just play other games like basket ball, kabaddi, foot ball to reduce ur weight which will not give u a masculine body. better have good exercise than playing kickboxing unless ur interested in playing tht
