Maybe your just blinded by love & this guy is actually a jerk. Do you know how many woman that are in abusive relationships say the same sort of thing? "Oh you just don't know him, he is a sweet person. He didn't mean to do it". Maybe it's time for you to look a little closer at what you friends are seeing.

They BOTH need to learn how to give and receive RESPECT. It is a 2 way street. You have to give it to get it back. Not knowing what prompted him to make your friend cry, I will offer this advice. He , whether he cares for your friend(s) or not, knows that you do and therefore should respect that. When they are around, just tolerate them and be civil and decent, not a jerk. They, likewise, should do the same. He should be a "man" and apologize for his rude behavior and they should be gracious enough to accept the apology and start from scratch to get acquainted. If either is unacceptable to this agreement, they need to GROW UP and act like the adults they THINK they are. This is childish behavior. PERIOD

It sounds like a case of jealousy. Your friends dont want to share you and neither does your guy.

Find out why he made her cry. Maybe she told him she didnt like him and wanted him to stay away from you.

No matter what happens remember this:
"Boys sometimes come and go but true friends are there to the end."

Tell your friends you love him and to give him a chance! And if hes still a major pain would you rather have a BF and lose your friends or friends and another BF that your friends really like?

No. You're with him and not your friends. How does he treat you is what matters most. Now if he crosses the line with yoru friends to a point you dont approve..you need to step in.

Don't try to convince them too hard because they'll just get sick hearing of him. If he does something particularly sweet, mention it but don't like rub it in their faces. Remember they're just looking out for your happiness. They'll get better with time if they see that he makes you happy :)

Does he realize that he brought one to tears? If not, you should share this with him. After knowing and if it sincere, is he willing to let your friend know he is sorry, his actions where not meant to hurt ones feeling. He needs to step forward and show his good side.

Invite him to sit with you and you're friends at lunch. Ask them to at least give him 1 chance before they REALLY judge him. GOOD LUCK!
