Alcohol itself isn't addicting, unlike nicotine. The "addiction" that people have to alcohol is based on how it makes them feel. If people can drink a bit and become less stressed, or more outgoing, they're likely to repeat it and drink again.

I think it is more that sober people are so boring... so alcohol takes you away from that... now drunks are boring too.. but before you're down the path you don't know that for sure... you just know that sober people (especially the 'exciting' ones who 'live life to the full') are as boring as boring can be.....

I say take up a sport like mountaineering... get your internal pharmacy working & build up your body so that the most natural sport of all becomes much more an athletic pursuit... plus you risk a horrible death if you do something like mountaineering... cool!

It is way better than drink... & (here's the bonus) you can drink too!!!!

Some people have more of an addictive personality and those are the ones that become alcoholics. A lot of people can drink and drink and then not drink again for months and there is no problem. That is me!

I know what it is the good taste of it? Why do you ask, why would you care, there aren't huge health risks. In fact i don't think it is addicting, its like if you drink something and you enjoy it you will want to drink it more, thats not an addictions really, but it is because you will want it more, and more. Kinda like sex!!
