Why did you accept the invitation in the first place since you already have a g/f? You should have declined when the invitation was issued. So either take your girlfriend or explain truthfully to the other young lady why you feel you shouldn't attend at all. Be a man for crying out loud, not an liar.

If I were you my advice would be to go. When I was about 14 I was invited to a sleepover that my mom basically made me go to even though I did not want to and I ended up having so much fun I didn't want to come home the next day! But if you still don't want to go just tell her that your parents won't let you go or that your grounded, if she asks why just fib a little and say oh well I beat up my little brother/sister or I refused to do my household chores or my grades are really poor.

If you don't want to go, than just call an hour into the party, and tell her you got stranded and just finally got home and apologize but you are just too tired to go in... (stranded can be flat tire, and no jack.) anything like that... if you have a new car, tell her you locked yourself out of the house. It will make you look stupid, but at least you dont have to do anything you dont want...

lets see there are a ton of excuses, but the best one is that you're sick. OR you could just go to the party and if she trys anything explain to her that yu have a girlfriend. (in a nice way)

That first advice you got here is good, i agree. Either that or just telling her that your girlfriend invited you somewhere else important for her. She should understand that girlfriend invitations come first that just friends invitations.

just because you have been invited to a party doesn't mean you have to go. you just need to find something else to do that night

Why don't you just bring your girlfriend as a guest to the birthday party. therefore, you would let her know you were taken without having to say it and you could also celebrate her birthday too without having to lie.

Tell her that you cant make it and you are truely sorry. Give her a simple birthday card. Stand your ground and dont let her make you feel bad about it. It you truely dont wanna go then say it. Its better then sitting there is misery
