I had an ex I went out with 3 years ago and we went out twice. 1st one day and 2nd two weeks (I was being young and stupid). Then I told my friend who is really close to me she could go out with him because at the time I didn't have feelings for him. but, while they were going out I grew feelings for him again. We still like each other but, would it be right if I went back out with him, I mean I did have him first but, I really don't want to hurt her feelings.

If it didnt work out before what makes you think it will now? Sure you might be different people but feelings still fade, just like they did for you back then, make sure you think hard about this, you may lose your friend just for this guy and you might only be with him for another 2 weeks. well let me point out the obvious. dont let a guy come in between you and a friend. and maybe you are just jealous cuz ur friend has a b/f and you dont. (im not saying you are its just and option) and maybe you had feelings for him when you 1st dated him you just didnt realize it at the time.
ask your friend if its ok if you give it another go with him and if it is try dating him.

no because it only because you see them together and they see the same things in each outer and it gets reminds you of what you first once has. but if they brack up some time in the future then see if you still feel the same way i think it,s better to move on because you could lose your lady friend if you try to get back while they are datting and she will blame you for there brack-up

I say no. You told her to go date him and she did and now you want him back? That's wrong. You may end up loosing a friend over this. You may have not known that you would have feelings for him but now you gotta suffer until she breaks it off with him.

well it depends if 'going out' means COMMITED. that's the big thing here, if they are free to date others as well as each other i would run it by the friend FIRST and then maybe casually see him as well. an understanding must be met though between you and the friend, relationships are never solid...but how many really good friends stick with us through bad boyfriends and girlfriends?! friends have the tenancy to hang around longer, i would respect her first and foremost. if she LOVES him, real honest love, you must be there for her too. wait- patience can win out over lust

seriously get over it!! it was not as if you in love its just this regret thing. Believe it or not somebody far better is out there. Plus your girl is dating him and that's one rule not to break...friendship. Who cares about having him first. Don't be like that you so much better off.

Does your friend still go out with him? If not go for it she shouldnt be angry you gave her permission when after you dated him so she shouldn't see a problem with it. but if she does you just have to choose which one is more important!! I'd go for it!!
