1. It's not an "Americanized" Democracy
2. Depends on which of the "religious" leaders you ask.
3. A separate issue.... But it wouldn't be a bad idea
4. It is the height of arrogance to believe that any particular ethnic or people group aren't "advanced" enough to have a democratic form of government.

No. That is not their belief system and so there is no way they will be transformed into our form of democracy. Look at the opportunity in Iraq and they have very clearly showed the world that they are not interested.

Another thing is we should not preach Jesus to them. They do not believe in Jesus and even though missionaries have been there attempting to preach Jesus they have never succeeded. So leave them alone in their own beliefs.

There is no such thing as an americanized democracy. The USA does not have a democracy, it is a republic (a form of representative government). We vote to elect an official, that official supposedly listens to those who voted him/her into office and acts in the persons best interest. There are no pure democracies in the world at this time, only, at best, some form of representative government.

That is a pipe dream. Bush and Cheney and other Republicans share this pipe dream for Iraq. It will never happen. For 3000 years they have been fighting each other, That will not change. If Iran nukes Israel then we could be in ww3. Iran can buy nukes now on the black market. The big question is. What would give Iran a reason to nuke Israel off the map? I have talked with Iraqis, They hate democracy. they prefer a Islamic republic form of Government like Iran.
How is democracy doing in Viet Nam and Korea now?

Won't happen. Yes.

The arab culture is geneticly predisposed to feudal style government. Who can field more thugs, scare more people, and live it up while the common folk are scratching out a living in the dirt. The belief system is about subjugation, not representing the populous. The best we can do is get the lot to fight each other and leave the west alone.

And America is NOT a democracy.. it is a representative republic.

Actually, the Middle East will find its own freedom. Iraq is more like a republic. They will succeed at what we are supposed to be. They will have different regions that are loosely governed by a small central government.

I think that it is a complete lack of understanding of the culture in the Middle East that has gotten us into the mess we are in today. Democracy is NOT "one size fits all". America must realise this or we are doomed to failure. Nobody likes to have their culture and beliefs totally discredited. I'm not saying that democracy is impossible in the Middle East, I'm just saying it will...by necessity...look very different from Democracy in the West.

There's a bit of miscommunication problems here.
Living human kind is just trying to enlighten them on universal living in planet of apes.
With self lack of knowledge at loss and blurr with our creator's universal gifts of life that was lost with time in planet of apes.
The were at loss and blindly following The Mummy from the graveyards living in misery in planet of apes.
Wonder when will they ever learn?
When the late Yasser Arafat left behind a six billion US dollars question on 'What is an X-files" that passes by their daily lives and they did'nt take notice of it in making a monkey out of themselves in planet of apes.

No, because they do not have separation of church and state, as we do here, in the U.S.A. Though we should help them in times of war, I don't think it's possible that the Middle East will ever become like us, until they really have the will to divide religion and politics.

I believe the Middle East will develope their own unique forms of governments we already see in the world. For anyone, regardless of their nation of residence to imply that the US is an empire is giving the US more credit than it deserves. Stop pumping us up with such talk.
