She calls me on New Years and wants to talk a lot. She has used "friend" with me. She knows I still like her, we have gone out before. She listed off relationships that fizzled out and didn't mention ours. She isn't dating... but she keeps cuing in she likes me but also has cues that she doesn't anymore.....AHH!

Maybe she's waiting to see something in you. A lot of times, that is why we keep some guys around. Trust me, she likes you, but not enough to _______(insert verb here) you. Women are attracted to strength and power. When a guy is interested in dating a woman, he needs to bring it. She needs to see what is special about you (flaws and all) it will either turn her off, or turn her on, and you need to discover what you have special to offer the right woman, and what the right woman has to offer you. This will help you weed them out, or to weed yourself out.

You're still in the game if you want to be. She wants to be with you but your acting a bit like a wimp. (I mean, it isn't just up to her, you also need to take a stand regarding the relationship.) Treat her well and she's yours. Claim her or let her go. The choice is yours.

well maybe you should ask her to come over fix her a nice diner but not to romantic cuz you dont want to come off to desparate and talk after wards and ask her where yall are going or you can just start making out with her and if she stops you then there it is.

If she knows you still like her it sounds like she is using you as a backup. Sounds also like she does not know what she wants. Tell her you would still like to date her and see how she reacts. Honesty is the best policy. Just ask her and then you won't have to play this game.
