The name you choose says as much about you as it does about your dog. It shows how you view your dog and your relationship with it. Some names can cause people to judge a dog and react positively or negatively/fearfully when meeting it. Depending on whether the dog is a pet, therapy dog, search & rescue dog, tracking dog or any other dog that works with the public, it is important to use a name that conveys the proper image.

The most popular dog name in North America is Sam, Sammie or Samantha (which means "listener"). The second most popular is Max, Maxie, Maxwell or Maxine (which means "the greatest" in Latin). Third is Lady, followed by Bear, Maggie, Buddy, Tasha, Chelsea (or Chelsie), Holly and Shasta. Other very popular names are Brandy, Ginger and Taffy

well it look like a yorkie so it will change it's colour as it gets older. that what happen to my cuzin's. she got a little more grayish/sliver as it got older...intill she was 4-5 months .when she was almost done growing. and i have always named my pets by personality more than colour/looks...the odd time i do.. but i'd wait till she gets a wee bit older maybe...but some names i might use...is what ever comes to minder. like i named one of my rabbits scarper bcuz he was the youngest and smallest of the other baby rabbits he ws with( they weren't his sibling his mother abandended him) and his eyes were close to but he ALWAYS got his diner...dont know how so we named him scraper. named one aspin cuz it was the first thing that came to mind when she was playing. one was named buttons cuz he's a cute as a button( my mom's saying) if ur dog stays as balck as it is u could name it cinder, pepper, alanna, miley,tilly,socks..i like buttons too! sadie, maggie, angel, holly, misty,
missy, coco, kiesha, kayleen, whatever u chosemake sure it's not to long..it takes them longer to get use to ther name if it's long. and not to many nic names either bucz she'll get confused in which is her real name. intill she's older and knows her name for sure i wouldn't use nic names often.
