Hi Lonely

Here are soma action steps to use to get healed.

Causes of Bladder Infection
The primary cause of bladder infection is bacteria that are unable to be eliminated from the urinary tract. The problem is not due to bacteria getting in to the urinary tract, but to bacteria not being able to get out.

Menopause can increase the risk of bladder infection developing because, during menopause, levels of the hormone estrogen decline in the body, making it easier for bacteria to stick to the lining of the urinary tract.

Preventing Bladder Infection
In order to prevent bladder infection, women should do the following:

Avoid urinating after intercourse until necessary. Full urination enables the body to more effectively eliminate bacteria from the urinary tract.

Consider your choice of contraceptive. Women should avoid the use of overly large fitted diaphragms, as these prevent effective voiding of the bladder, especially after intercourse. Contraceptive sponges can cause similar problems. Better birth control options are to wear a cervical cap, or to have your partner wear a condom.

It sounds like cystitis, but im not a dr. if you want to follow peoples advice on here before seeking medical help then drink lots of water to flush out the infection (easier said than done cos when you have cystitis you hate the thought of going to toilet as it hurts so much) Wear skirts more than trousers. take regular baths to ease the pain and do not have intercourse. If no better by wed see a Dr. If pain gets too severe phone for proper medical advice. Hope you feel better soon

I had this problem before when I was a teenager. 2 things come to mind.

1. It is the start of a bladder infection. It tingles then turns to stinging.

2. Or a yeast infection. This gets worse too.

The good thing is that whatever it is, it is just the first signs.

Look into STD's as well. Hope it is not that though.

Take care of yourself :)

I've had something similar before where it burned and was so incredibly painful, and felt like I still had to go. Try changing your undies a lot more often and keeping good hygeine. (Not saying you aren't.) Cranberry Juice also helps! If it doesn't clear up in a few days, see a doctor.

He gave my depends and told me to wear them and it could possibly go away later. Or it ccould be permanent.
