There's this guy and whenever I message him online, he doesn't speak very much nor does he message me back very often. Yet he sends me greetings and text messages. Why doesn't he just tell me these things online when I message him?

I think when he's on-line he's distracted by the 15 other women that he's also chatting to. Later, he can message you personally when he can focus on who's who, and use both hands to type.
If it's any consolation...half those other 15 women, are men.

he doesn't want to feel the pressure of knowing ur seeing his message at the moment and to send w/out a response if way safer.. and the fact that he speaks less while online, he is afraid of the awkward silence while online and the lack of convo. material... He is more confident when he texts at his own "time"

Maybe he likes to take his time and think about his answers or greetings and instant messages are too fast paced for him. Not everyone can think quickly and he may just like to put more thought into what he actually does say.

Could be he is busy with other things or other things are on his mind. Sometimes it takes guys a while to get around to send out things. I wouldn't think too much about it.

He may be pre occupied most of the time. When I am online even when I chat i multitask. There is something else I am dooing also checking email looking through snail mail,etc.

Maybe he just doesnt want to talk to you or doesnt have much to say or hes doing something online or only texts you wen hes bored or something like that.

He likes you as a friend and it sounds to me that you have more feelings leaning toward romance. He also sounds like some kind of an artist or possibly a lawyer. Its all about him. Dont be his puppy.

First does he go 2 your school.If he does. Just talk to him privatly and ask him.There's no better way to do than that.Or don't talk to him until he texts u back.I'm just saying that if my other clues don't help u. Good Luck

Maybe he has trouble with spelling or something like that. Let it go. Talk on the phone instead.
