try to remove a program but I get Setup failed to run installation (0x80040801) What can I do to remove it?

delete the folder where all the files for that program are stored. run regedit, search for all the occurrences of the program name in your registry and delete them. if you don't feel confortable with this last step just ignore it.

what operating system u use? if XP try restoring your system to a prior time before installing
