no, is it loving not to tell your parents that there house is on fire before they walk in and shut the door. Jesus is the person who builds and maintains his followres houses. Tell others about why there is a hell, but don't threaten them with hell. Tell them about hell after you tell them of Gods love. After all who would want to leave there current false religion, where they find peace and purpose and go to a God where the first thing is a threat of "burning in hell forever", tell them of God's love and then help them understand the reason for the creation of hell. Don't threaten them with it or they will think God is just out to send people too hell.

iq: NO ... it is not a "Christian" thing to tell anyone that he or she is "going to hell" . About the 500 lb. guy and the twinkie ... that's demonstrates a sheer lack of wisdom on the persons part, whether, he or she is a Christian or not !!! Of course, depends why the person said it, too ! Christians are people arriving ... maturing in his or her relationship with Jesus; therefore, since they haven't arrived there fully, as of yet, he or she is imperfect like you and me !!!

Referring to non-Christians as unbelievers is ignorant and arrogant - I am an ex-Christian who is now pagan, so I have a belief system. The loving thing to do would be to follow Jesus' example and to accept people for who they are and what they believe. Attempt a bit of humbleness and take it for granted that EVERYONE has heard of HELL!

i've got never advised all and sundry that they are going to burn in hell. easily, i'm not extremely non secular yet I comprehend that faith is a topic rely that human beings experience passionately approximately. even inspite of the shown fact that, I trust you that the keenness would desire to be expressed by love of ones faith not anger in direction of different people who disagree. authentic faith in God potential which you will desire to have a feeling that issues will ultimately artwork out for the final. God knows what's sturdy for us. unquestionably, i don't have that variety of religion yet i don't declare to and then take it out on human beings as a results of fact I secretly do not. perhaps sometime i will yet for many people who sort of religion is a technique and people who tell others "they are going to hell" don't have that kind of religion yet the two. faith is putting all the have faith in God and understanding that God and God on my own knows what to do with a individual's soul. whether somebody is doing something you think of is a sin. Christianity teaches us that God forgives people who're somewhat sorry. How do you recognize somebody won't in any respect somewhat be sorry for what they're doing now? human beings come right here as a results of fact they want help not as a results of fact they want to bashed and advised they are going to hell. Be effective and truthfully say something which will help and not harm the region. (ok, on occasion human beings do submit inquiries to get an boost out of folk yet do not answer questions that are patently submit for this purpose in case you may not take care of it). I, too, do not see very lots love around right here. on occasion i think of human beings overlook that they are speaking with those with recommendations and thoughts. I basically think of that human beings would desire to have a sprint extra recognize for others whether you're a believer, non-believer, or on the fence. thank you for bringing this assertion up.

so would you rather that everyone let the 500lb man starve to death just so that heal loose a little weight to make you and the rest of the world happy?

and as to the hell thing
if you were 5, and at the doctors, waiting to get your stomach pumped because your mom told you not to eat a raw egg and you ate 3. and you asked your mom if it was going to hurt, would you want told that it was going to feel good?

Just because I am an unbeliever doesn't mean I haven't heard about hell, I told I'm going there regularly. Usually the offer to carpool gets the point across - I don't believe in Nevernever land where a magic wizard sends you if you do something on his special list of 10 bad things (or just don't believe in magic), all the while still loving you (even though he created the Neverneverland in the first place and decided you would go there before you were born).

So in my opinion, its more loving to just keep your fairy tales to yourself, if you want to believe them then I'm not going to try and stop you, but don't try and convince me they are real.

Ugh, enough already! There is no such thing as hell. Its a scare tactic used by christians to make sure their kids stay in line. Kinda like the boogeyman.

"you better do this and believe this or suffer eternal damnation". Plus, I've been told by numerous people that I'm going to hell. I just ignore them now.

John 8:32-And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

We need to tell them the truth;but still need to present it in a way that they dont get utterly offended.

If you saw a blind man about to walk off the edge of a cliff, would it be unloving to warn him? Would you try to stop him in time? Are we as loving Christians to ignore the peril of the lost?
