If you are a citizen or legal resident of Canada, you can just go out and apply for jobs.

However, I am assuming that you are not, by your question, so, in order to gt a job in Canada, you must have a Social Insurance Number (SIN), which is issued to you at the time you are issued a work visa, a student visa, a temporary resident visa, or permanent residency.
