I have had the best results when I ran my antivirus and spyware programs in SAFE MODE. Disable system restore, boot in to safe mode and then run your programs. If they find something, run them again until they come back clean. Make sure and enable system retore when your system is clean.

Unlikely a virus BUT it could be - usually spyware

EVEN THOUGH you have doen a scan !!!!

Get some other spyware sweepers on your system - becuase what one misses the other will pick up on

Also disable you system restore points >>> reason spyware also installs itself on there >> then do a scan and enable the restore points

also check your internet connection > if you are on broadband and it disconnects check your modem / router for the lights that are on it - if some of them have gone then you may have a signal problem from your ISP

An internet connection can become slow or stop working due to a number of reasons depending on the type of the connection. Many of the problems can be solved by making software changes or small hardware corrections. Detailed instructions at http://tinyurl.com/yl62gz

scan your computer for viruses, and spyware, maybe try reinstalling internet explorer. if you are using dial-up, being disconnected during busy internet times is common
