It is so embarrassing, and I can never wear the shirts, dresses or swim suits without feeling horrible. Any ideas from people who have had the same problem?

It sounds like the bumps may be infected or clogged pores. I,m really sorry you're having such a bad time. I would really suggest a trip to the dermatologist. He may prescribe antibiotics, some type of lotion and soap, and sometimes you may be placed under special lighting, I've forgotten what it is called. You definitely do not want to scratch them as it will leave ugly scars and do not pick them like some people do pimples on their face. There is no reason you should have to suffer with this particular problem as a dermatologist can help. They are not miracle workers but the sooner you get there the sooner your treatment begins. Good Luck.

Couple of thoughts.

My family are all very sensitive to fragrance. So, I purchase all fragrance free hair care and skin care products. It kept the bulk of the "break outs" to a minimum while my two older children were going through puberty. (there are non-drying facial cleansers, like liquid and solid Cetaphil that are GREAT!) I also had to change laundry soap to one with a less strong scent.

Try all that first. It's probably the easiest to manage and saves you the trip to the doctor. You should notice a difference within a few days.

If those tips don't work, you may need to see a doctor for treatment of acne. Modern medicine has several great and fairly easy remedies... But, they can be expensive, and some can be pretty intimidating, in terms of side effects.

So... try changing up your body care and clothing care products first... then move on from there.

Try Differin for your acne troubles. It works on your back, face, and chest. Go to a CVS store and get some. I reconmend it.
