it flattens ur stomach-but hte best way to flatten stomach is alot of situps&crunches-ur results wont show rite away but u'll find it works later. i tried it and it worked

Hula hooping would definitely work for your abs..It would be considered a "core" exercise and a good way to burn calories...done in moderation with crunches and sit-ups it would be a great way to relieve boredom of conventional exercises...

I wouldnt think so. If you want the best results, do sit-ups
