hello, I have been a hairstylist for 20 years and we use 1/2 ounce of dawn dish washing liquid 1/2 ounce of baking powder and 1/2 ounce of facial astringent. place under a bag with heat for 15 min. That was the best thing for corrective color when needing to strip the hair to a lighter shade

I'm going through the same thing an I decided that I am going to get highlights like a med brown the color of my natural hair but I dyed it black last June so it has faded a lot. Your going to have to strip it especially b/c it has been so recent since you have dyed it.

Nothing will help black permanent dye. At most it may lose that super new shine over time. Your options are let it grow out or strip it.

i think the dye will fade a little after a while, but you'll also get roots too, so maybe sun-in or some hair lightener will work.

Shave your head and let your natural hair grow. Yep, that'll work.
