Just put about 2 or 3 inches of warm water in the bathroom sink and see how he reacts to it. If he doesn't want a bath, try again in a few more days. Eventually, he'll splash around in it when he decides it's time for a bath. I wouldn't force it though. Just set him on the side of the sink and see if he jumps in. Or you could use a shallow dish. I also liked what someone else said about putting a dish of water in his cage.

Keep at it. My 20 year old Cockatiel was hand raised by me and he got used to baths. He loves baths and mist etc. Dad and I used to breed Cockatiels in the 80's. I took care of him when he hatched in the incubator. My sons 4 year old Cockatiel doesn't care to much for bath-time or mist because he was bought in a pet store i don't think they actually get bath time in pet stores. I still give him baths and mist they need it. They will eventully like it. It takes time unless your bird is older and doesn't like it well that may be the bird must of gone through some time of bad bath experience.

I keep a small square plastic glad bowl in the bottom of the cage and my teils like to get in it. The ones that have eggs get into it and soak their breast and go back in the nest to lay on the eggs and keep them moist. I also mist but I hold the bottle up above the cage and let it sort of rain down from the top. I don't directly spray the birds.

sometimes on a really hot day they just like to put their feet in water because it cools them down, if he doesnt like mist baths i suggest just putting a shallow dish on the floor of his cage and if he is hot enough he will get in it, my cockateil was the same he didnt like getting mist baths but when i put the water dish in there he loved it.
Hope this helped = )
