Unlike others, I am going to assume that you mean the only fluids you would ingest would be water. IE no soda, coffee etc............NOT that you're not going to let anything past your lips BUT water...DURH! Depending on how much soda and calorie dense things you drink (Starbucks and full sugared drinks) you would definitely see some weight loss. As far as your health, you would feel much better, be more regular and your skin would look better than it ever has! Even if you drank only water for a month or even just a week!
Try it, good luck!

It will not hurt you to only drink water. Your body doesn't need sodas, and sodas weren't even available way back when. All they had to drink was water. I hope you aren't talking about not eating because THAT your body can't do without. If you normally drink lots of sodas and you go to just water, you should lose some weight. Sodas have a lot of sugar.

This questions can easily be answered fully by looking up David Blaine's newsclips. He tries this on temp stunts, take a good look at the body damage from even short periods of time. Btw sugar water would not keep you alive, even coma patients (glucose look it up) waste away.

eventually you would starve to death. it would be a painful death. water, alone, cannot keep your alive for a full year. you can go 2 weeks without water and 1 month without food. there would be weight loss and no positive health effects. your body would deplete itself of nutrients, vitamins and minerals and would start to sustain itself on the muscle tissue you have. you would be sick with vomiting, low blood sugar, chills, and painful cramping. talk to a doctor and find out what he or she has to say about it: or talk to a nutritionist.

Um, wait, what?! Are you seriously asking what would happen if you only drank water for an entire year?? Well let's see, you'd last maybe 3 weeks at most and die. Your body can not last without food.

i'm not a dietician or anything like that but I know you would be very sick, very unhealthy, and you would probably die way before the year was over. There would be all kinds of damage that might be impossible to repair. your immune system probably wouldn't work and you would lose muscle mass. there is absolutely nothing positivie about it.

I dont think people understand te question -- or I'm reading it wrong. I think he means that he would still eat, but instead of soda or juices...etc...he would only drink water....
Too much water is not good, but it definitely flushes and cleanses your system...and you will pee much more...and it will be clear...

If water is your only intake you will die. If it is your only fluid intake than no problem as long as all other nutrient requirements are being met.
