what's wrong with me? i can only forget someone i have feelings for, by going out with somebody else! i ca't do it by myself- if i'm alone, i wallow in self-pity...

once, i took a whole year to forget someone...which i did after meeting somebody else.

Yes you CAN, you simply choose not to. What's sad is that you use other people. How would you like to know someone was dating you to only to get over someone else? Not very flattering is it?

Learn to deal with breakups yourself...get closure...and don't date until your heart is healed. It's not fair to those you rebound with, and not healthy for you either.

I'm the first to say, some of us are not tempermentally suited to single living. But, what you're describing here just doesn't sound healthy.

You can't wallow in a failed relationship waiting for the next one to come along. This just leads you to make new bad decisions, "to heal the pain"...which just makes new pain. It's ok to not be happy alone (and a number of people will disagree with me on that) but you have to be able to let go of the past to get on with the future.

the 1st mistake made replaced into to tell him which you would be buddies after a messy breakup. Now he's attempting to take great factor approximately that supply. It seems such as you're over him, so which you may desire to decrease the binds with him completely and make that very sparkling or he will in no way depart you on my own. he's attempting to play the in charge card on you. turn your website thoroughly and start up afresh. good success.

Good point. when I broke up with someone I only forgot them when I was up in another guy's face. I'd rather stay single for a while now because I don't trust guys Anymore, but maybe taking up a hobby and dating every once in a while is fine.

If that's your way of dealing with a heartbreak i don't see anything wrong with that but i wouldn't make any quick decisions on anything because you may be doing it on a rebound so just take your time and enjoy life a little. Good Luck!

well i'm not sure what your question is...but some other ways to get over a break up is by filling up your free time with extra curriculars or hanging out with your girlfriends or your family and just having all your time booked taht you can't think about your guy.....believe it or not it works....there's nothing wrong with you...you just may not have tried the other techniques of getting over a break up...try these...i think they could work for you!

Meet LOTS of people. Men and women. Read this book, "Women who love too much". It sounds like it would be up your alley. Also go to this website and order a book called "10 stupid things women do to mess up their lives"
