What makes YOU think they were ALL wrong?

Or maybe it was not the idea that was wrong, just the understanding which has changed little for the religions of today. Even evolution displays how all the universe life/energy is connected right down to our DNA. Its consciousness evolving and evolutionary biology is just the reflection.

How do you know that all of them were wrong? And besides, if every civilation insists on believing in a God or gods, then that is evidence that it is a natural instinct imbedded in us to worship and believe in a higher power than ourselves. I wonder who put that there....

Actually they were not wrong dear friend. See, if a thousand people believe that 1 + 1 = 3, it makes no difference. Belief does not change truth. So you see, what one believes and what is truth is two different things. There is a God, that is not just my belief, it's the truth!

Yes they were.
I am right because most of those civilizations have abandoned their gods as all gods are eventually abandoned, as belief and mythology fails to keep up with non-religious ideology, and is displaced by it. It was right for the Roman gods to be displaced by Christianity, and it is right that Christianity will go the same way eventually. Every one of those civilizations thought it was right about god to exactly the same extent as modern theists do. Every one dies eventually. The Abrahamic god is no different.

There is so much evidence of God. If ppl would quite mocking God and searching for themselves, they would find it. There is only one God, the blessed trinity, of the three godheads into one. Father God, Son Jesus who is God, and the Holy Spirit who is also God. this is thru out the Bible. Many cant grasp that concept, but would if they studied and prayed.
Are you willing to take a chance on hell by not studyig for yourself and finding out what truth is? Before I said there is no God, I would wonder. What if there is and I just chose hell. and we do deceide where we end up by the choice we make. God says we are either fully His and go to Heaven, or fully Not His at all, and go to hell. And, He doesnt make tht choice for us. we do. We are told what to do, and its our choice to listen and choose God or to ignore Him, and mock Him, and just laugh at it all like its a big joke. so, on judgement day, we have deceided our own fate and have noone to blame but ourself. Yes, I am a Christian, and I am a fundamentalist. YOu would say I am fanatic, but many said that about Jesus too. If fantaic means sure of the truth and wont back down, then Yes I am a fanatic. So much worse things you can say about me. I know its a big decision and I wanted to KNOW truth and I sought it for myself. Didnt listen to anyone. Never been affected by peer pressure. I figure I am smart enough to make up my own mind, and once I asked God to just show me, He really did. I have seen miracles, and been part of miracles, that cannnot be denied or explained any other way that God has done them. The reason all civilizations from beginning ot time have believed in some kind of God..... is because of God. He tells us He puts in all of us a little grain of faith, and we will either run with this and find more faith and hold onto it, or we will let it go, because believing makes it inconvenient for us to live our lives in the way we selfishly and sinfully want to live it. What a price to pay tho. How much pleasure can one find here that makes Hell worth it????? You are on serious ground with God. Be fully HIs or fully nots, and choose soon. Jesus is coming soon, and by then, or by the time you die, you have to have made that decision, and then God does know what to do wtih YOU< just like He does all of us. You can turn back the close tho. God is eager to forgive. Just ask and ask Him to show truth to you. Once you truly experience the realness of God, you will only want to know Him more. Check this out buddy, and do it while there is still time. The Bible tells us what to watch for to KNOW when Jesus is coming soon, and the signs are here all over the world. All the Bible prophecies are happening just like God said, and you think there is no proof. Read the Bible, all of it and then say that. Open your eyes and ears.... Its all there. I will pray for you.

Early religion began as a way for man to explain the world around him. As man has progressed, his religious needs have changed. As man continues to progress, religions will need to change more, or die.

I don't thing the point is to prove to anyone that we're right. We believe and that's all anyone needs to know.
