Is there any good media player for organization?

I tried Media Player 11 but it takes too much work to organize, its also a resource hog. I've tried Itunes but thats a registry hog and it only plays 75% of my songs, the rest aren't compatible. Ive heard of Media monkey among a couple others, but the ones ive used have spyware, adware, or are worse then media player 10. So, are there any good media players that will allow me to organize quick and actually keep it organized? Unlike WMP10...where everytime its loaded it needs to organize.

I did try converting them, but they Itunes says its not compatible. Only WMA and VLC play all my files. Itunes isnt completely compatible. I was able to convert about 60% of the songs, about 15% Itunes was able to read without converting, but the other 25% or so Itunes just wont read.
