Men or generally ugly to begin with. Yes.
That is the beauty of nature. Men are attracted via physical appearance. Thus women are generally beautiful creatures. Women on the other hand seem to be able to look pass the looks to a much greater extent and dive for the more emotional side of things. Not true for all but it is for the majority.
Thus men do not have the greatest of appearance for the most part.
Women do.

I think it's about even, it just seems like there are more good-looking females because people notice them first, before the good-looking males.

Hard to tell because if you go into a large grocery store and look, all you see is average looking people. You don't see beautiful people.
Maybe it's because youthful prettiness gives way to middle age averageness. Although I must admit that one very average lady caught attention when she bent down and exposed some large bare breasts momentarily to capture the vote of every man there.

The good looking males are often gay, so that's 2 down for each good looking female. Gay females are GENERALLY not good looking, so that's even worse upsetting the balance.

I would definitely say so. Females all want to be, look, and act beautiful, whereas some guys don't really care what they look like.
Coming from a male's perspective, I love a girl that wants and likes to be beautiful.

because 100 % of us men are more "Manture" by age, weight,

Yes, and thats because us guys are more outgoing than girls. Supposedly guys are 5x more horny than girls, so many more guys would say more chicks are "good-looking." Females are less horny, so they would describe less as "good-looking." So therefore there would be more "good-looking" females than males.

Don't know, most girls think i'm hot but I only think around 5-10% of them are physically attractive. Others have personalities and other qualities that increase attractiveness.
