Islam doesn't teach the doctrine of original sin, for Islam teaches that Adam and Eve did seek forgiveness from God and God did accept their repentance.
Islam teaches that God is Most Gracious and Most Merciful:
"Even if My slave has sins as big as mountains, I will still forgive him, because My mercy overcomes My wrath" (Divine Hadith - Hadith Qudsi)
"And seek the forgiveness of God. Certainly, God is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.'' (4:106)
"For the pious there are Gardens (Paradise) with their God, underneath which rivers flow. Therein (is their) eternal (home) and purified mates or wives. And God will be pleased with them. And God is All-Seer of the (His) slaves. Those who say: `Our Lord! We have indeed believed, so forgive us our sins and save us from the punishment of the Fire. (They are) those who are patient, those who are true (in Faith, words, and deeds), and obedient with sincere devotion in worship to God. Those who spend (give the Zakat and alms in the way of God) and those who pray and beg God's Pardon in the last hours of the night.'' (3:15-17)
"And whoever does evil or wrongs himself but afterwards seeks God's forgiveness, he will find God Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.'' (4:110)
"And God would not punish them while you (Muhammad (PBUH)) are amongst them, nor will He punish them while they seek (God's) forgiveness.'' (8:33)
"And those who, when they have committed illegal sexual intercourse or wronged themselves with evil, remember God and ask forgiveness for their sins; - and none can forgive sins but God - and do not persist in what (wrong) they have done, while they know.'' (3:135)
Abu Hurairah (May God be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of God (PBUH) saying, "I swear by God that I seek God's Pardon and turn to Him in repentance more than seventy times a day.''
[Al-Bukhari].
Abu Hurairah (May God be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of God (PBUH) said, "By the One in Whose Hand my soul is! If you do not commit sins, God would replace you with a people who would commit sins and seek forgiveness from God ; and God will certainly forgive them.''[Muslim].
Ibn `Umar (May God be pleased with them) said: We counted Messenger's saying a hundred times during one single sitting: (My Lord! Forgive me and pardon me. Indeed, You are the Oft-Returning with compassion and Ever Merciful.''
[Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi].
Ibn `Abbas (May God be pleased with them) said: The Messenger of God (PBUH) said, "If anyone constantly seeks pardon (from God ), God will appoint for him a way out of every distress and a relief from every anxiety, and will provide sustenance for him from where he expects not.''[Abu Dawud].
Ibn Mas`ud (May God be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of God (PBUH) said, "He who says: 'I seek the forgiveness of God , there is no true god except God , the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting, and I turn to Him in repentance,' his sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield (while he was engaged in fighting for the Cause of God ).''[Abu Dawud, At-Tirmidhi and Al-Hakim (on conditions of Al-Bukhari and Muslim for accepting Hadith)].
Shaddad bin Aus (May God be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (PBUH) said, "The best supplication for seeking forgiveness is to say: 'O God ! You are my Lord. There is no true god except You. You have created me, and I am Your slave, and I hold to Your Covenant as far as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge the favours that You have bestowed upon me, and I confess my sins. Pardon me, for none but You has the power to pardon.' He who supplicates in these terms during the day with firm belief in it and dies on the same day (before the evening), he will be one of the dwellers of Jannah (Paradise); and if anyone supplicates in these terms during the night with firm belief in it and dies before the morning, he will be one of the dwellers of Jannah.''[Al-Bukhari].
Thus, redemption and salvation can be obtained by believing in The ONE God and His messenger, enjoining the right and forbidding the wrong, and constantly seeking forgiveness from the Lord. With God's infinite grace and mercy, believers will surely attain eternal salvation.
God knows best.
Peace and Love

There is nothing called original sin .. Adam was just a man like us .. We have free will and we have the choice whether to obey God or Satan .. if sin entered the world through Adam's sin .. how can you explain that Eve listened to Satan before it. (which is a sin of course).

for sure no except the author and he's JESUS CHRIST he's a co author of the daddy: He change into with the daddy earlier the introduction: and also you suggested prophet muhammad, he's a introduction of God so with Moses. Christ suggested: PROVERB 8:22 = The Lord possessed me contained in the starting up of his way, earlier his works of previous: 23 =i change into set up from eternal, from the starting up, or ever the earth change into. 24 = even as there have been no depths, i change into extra forth; even as there have been no fountains abounding with water. 25 = earlier the mountain were settled..... 26 = even as as yet he had not made the earth,...... 27 = even as he prepared the heavens, i change into there even as he set a compass upon the face of the dep.: ~30 = Then i change into by him, as one extra up by him and that i change into on a daily basis his pride, rejoicing consistently earlier him. for this reason he got here from eternal to eternal. and many extra verses that tells Christ is God the begotten of the daddy, The Son of God. it truly is logical to assert If the daddy is God the Son too isn't it?

Only Christianity deals with original sin ..and it is done by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
" You shall die in your sins if you believe not that I am He (the messiah)". - Jesus Christ
" He that has see me has seen the Father" - Jesus (Jn. 14:9)
" In Him is the fullness of the Godhead bodily".(Col. 2:9)
" I and my Father are one"- Jesus
