Hi. I recently had a fasting blood panel done. I am trying to connect ALL the high results to lament terms. I have done several searches on each one individually. But is there anyway to see if these all connect to maybe one underlying factor? The results are as follows: 110 Chloride; 167 Triglycerides;113 LDL (calculated); 15.7 Hemoglobin; 7.60 Absolute Neutrophils.
Again, these are all recorded Highs. I do know that I have to reduce fat & sodium in my diet.
I also have a family history of HBP, Cancer, Diabetes, & Heart Disease.(nice genes huh?)
So any info on what these highs all mean will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

You shouldn't be mucking around asking this kind of question on here. Go straight to your doctor and take this seriously. No one can afford to be complacent about their health, you have family history of problems and high results. Get yourself seen to now!

You're right on--the Chloride, Trglycerides, and the LDL all are indicators of too much fat and too much salt. The hemoglobin is the oxygen carring component of your red blood cells and it means nothing at all for them to be high. It just means that you are oxygenating well and that you have not lost any large amounts of blood lately, so good news there. Neutrophils are a subgroup of white blood cells. Your number is just barely elevated and probably fine if your overall white blood cell count is within normal limits.

The HBP and heart disease are your factors for changing your diet. HBP means to reduce sodium and let your body get rid of the excess sodium-somewhat hard because even not having salt on the table...it is there! Drink lots of water. Triglycerides: this is your starches...noodles, pasta, bread, cake, cookies and candy among other things. Eat the more nutritious compliments. White bread is now wheat. Pasta is now the vegetable pasta. Noodles is eggless noodles. Cookies are now made with applesauce in place of shortening...
