When it comes down to it, the only thing that will work is discipline. It takes discipline to eat better. It takes discipline to exercise. There are thousands of diet fads which will "help" you lose the weight temporarily, but only healthy eating and proper exercise will allow you to honestly slim down.
For me, what worked was taking up running and eating well. I run Monday - Wednesday and again on Friday. For the most part, I became a near vegetarian. The only meat I eat is tuna. (Without the mayo, it's high in protein and low in fat.) Instead of two slices of bread, I use one wrap for my sandwiches. (It cuts the calories and the carbs - which if unused turn straight to sugar and then fat - in half) But it still comes down to discipline. I still hate to run, and I would love to eat a thick porterhouse. But I would rather weigh 125 lbs instead of 175 lbs.
I understand that not everyone has the time to run, however, you are only cheating yourself, if you cannot find 20 to 30 minutes in the day where you can do some cardio. You can accept whatever excuse you want, but in the end, it's you that needs the discipline to lose the weight.

There are little things you can do to lose weight like stop drinking soft drinks and switch to water. I did that alone and lost 7lb. Leave all the sweets ALONE! Eat tons of fruit and vegetables. Also, leave all greasy foods like pizza and hamburgers alone they will do nothing put add on extra pounds. Limit your carb intake by switching to whole wheat bread (remember not to eat too much of it.) Exercising is also a key point in losing weight. Try fitness video's they helped me as well.

You have 22-26 weeks, so 30 pounds is realistic. Go to www.weightwatchers.com: you can do it online.
You want to do a combination of diet and exercise to cut about 500 calories a day. So, you could cut out a couple of slices of toast for 200 calories, and walk three miles for another 300 calories. Weigh yourself once a week, and that's it!

I would suggest a cleansing diet. I did this and lost 12 pounds and 19 inches in 9 days. I continued and lost 29 pounds in a month. I like the program since it works by giving your body nutrition through protein shakes with digestive enzymes and vitamins and then cleansing out the toxins. We get toxins in our bodies from pesticides, preservatives, water, pollution, medications, food additives etc…. These toxins enter our bodies and get stored in our fat cells. To shrink the fat, we need to get rid of the toxins through cleansing. The program also has a natural diet pill to help your metabolism and curb cravings. It works and it works fast. My skin has improved from the cleansing. You can get more info at this toll free number 1-877-587-4647. It is pricey but worth it! I think cleansing is really important to health and weight loss. Give it a try and good luck! http://diet4cleansing.com
