Considering your question is WAY off course I recommend you hit the Hinduism Today website, grab up on the most recent magazine or a Complete Idiot's guide for a simple overview, then there are more in-depth texts available for in-depth study. There's nothing lacking "unity" in Hinduism, trust me.

one thought says that hinduism is like "way of living" so you can say living life doing good karma can serve as common belief
