And why do some Protestants believe that Hell is real, and other kinds of Protestants believe that Hell isn't real?

Some Protestants believe strongly that homosexual activity and abortion are an abomination to God while other Protestants think that there is no such thing as a sin and that we will all go to Heaven no matter what we do.

Some Protestants believe that it's important to gather to worship God while others don't think that praying is necessary, etc.

As Christians, doesn't it make a huge difference to our salvation to know the truth about these kinds of things? Why do Protestants disagree on so many important doctrines of Christianity? Do some people believe that God would want His Church to be so confused and divided about the gospel when our eternal salvation is at stake? Can I get an Amen?

It's because Protestants mistake their own faulty reasoning for the guiding of the Holy Spirit. They need a central, Spirit-lead authority to guide them, just as all Christians do.

Many protestants have mixed beliefs about God. They only look at one tiny section of God's Word, and twist it around to make it what they want it to be. This happens because of Satan, and sin. Just because we are all considered protestants, doesn't mean we all do the same things or go to the same churches. We are considered protestant because we believe in God, but we aren't Catholic or Jewish. The churches are divided because of Satan.

Baptism can be looked at in different ways. Some churches believe that baptism saves you, which isn't entirely true. In our church, baptism is looked at as symbolic. It's the change in heart and the acceptance of Christ that is important. Not the fact that you've been baptized.

The Bible clearly states that homosexuals and murderers will not go to Heaven.

Some people believe that a loving God would not send his creation to hell. But think about it. If you created something, You like it because you made it, right? But say others don't like it. They think it is a bad work of art. It is not bringing glory to you. You'd get rid of it to stop the criticism, right? The same thing happens with God. He created us, and instead of others criticising him because of us, some of us actually criticize him, and that doesn't bring glory to him. He still loves us, but since some of us don't love him, he can't allow them into Heaven.

The Bible says that where 2 or more are gathered in Christ's name, He will be with them.

Only true christians believe in Gods word. Those who say they are and dont follow it are anti-christ. Its a shame isnt it. Baptism is a command of the Lord and is an outword expression of an inword change. If hell is not real then why would we want to change. People who believe that abortion is OK usually have been involved in at least one and those who think homosexual activity is Ok usually have been involved in it at least once

That is the best proof that the devil is working hard to confuse God's church on earth. If the church is prospering and popular in the world that is a dangerous sign. The more you try to follow all the truth the greater will be the animosity and attack from the adversary. The Church which tries to follow all the teachings of Jesus will be the least popular. Jesus' last and most important command to His followers is to preach the Gospel and baptize people. Baptizo is a Greek meaning "to immerse of deep something into the water". It is a symbol of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. So it is understandable that Satan will attack it and try to discard it altogether or at least to introduce
something different from the original command.
God does not want His church to be confused, and if everybody follow the Word of God, the Bible and the Bible only, there won't be any confusion. But that is the fact of the matter. At the time of Judgment many will be surprised when Jesus said:
depart from Me, I don't know you, because you did not do My will and keep My commandments, in other words you are lawless people or transgressors of My commandments.

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ (Matthew 7:21-23)

And the Beloved Apostle, John, says in 1 John 2:3,4, whatever we call ourselves, but if we do not keep His commandments we are nothing but liars.

3 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

The whole problem with the Christian World is that people don't read their Bibles fully. They say it is too hard to understand, and just believe what the Pastor preaches is the whole truth. There are too many false prophets out here leading people astray. Salvation is through Jesus Christ, and Baptisim is just following Jesus in obedience, and showing the world that you identify with Christ. Satan wants all the churches to be confused and split. If he can destroy the churches then he has won. We must unite, and pray, and read the Word of God to stay strong. Not just read, but study the Word of God. We all need strong faith in God.

I've noticed that different denominations put emphasis on different verses to back up their dogma. For example, the Church of Christ believes in salvation by baptism, and their main verse is the one from Acts--"Repent and be baptized". Others put more stock in a later verse in the same book, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and ye shall be saved". I don't think it's so much the denominations as that the Bible can get rather confusing at times.

because the word baptise means to change completely on the inside. pouring water on someone is just an outwardly sign. many religions have a baptism ceremony that does not include water.

Christians can't even agree ampngst themselves. How do they expect to have any credibility.

Don't you think that if the bible was the word of god that he would have made it consistent and clear. It is full of inconsistencies and subject to interpretation which leads to misunderstanding.
