What is the youngest person to get married in U.S. in the last 100 years? I hear they marry at the age of 14 in the Ozark Mountains.

it was 12 in alabama, but back in the 16-1700 they use to have a wedding were the bride was like 5 to get land and stuff they didnt do anything to she became a lady (if you know what i mean)

You moron! I live in the Ozark Mountains and I don't know anybody that married at 14, during my life time. I married at 18 and my husband and I are still going strong after almost 20 years!
And yes, I have all my teeth and a college education.

I would guess 14 with parent permission is probably the youngest. I was 16 when I got married to my ex-husband.

Singer Jerry Lee Lewis married his 13-year-old cousin Myra back about 50 years ago. I don't know what state they were married in.
