Don't worry, it's quite common. She'll get used to it.

Build up the amount of time she has it on and distract her from the collar when she is wearing it. Play games with her or give her treats so that she forgets she has the collar on and starts to associate the collar with nice things. When she is old enough to go out for walks you can just put her collar on when she is going out. That way she will associate having the collar on with going out and wont mind at all that she has to wear it.

Poor little puppy is mad at you for putting this foreign object around her neck! Too bad, it is for her own good in the long run, as I would guess you will start leash training the pup soon. I would make the pup keep it on and for a while, play with her, throw a ball, give her a treat. Anything to make her forget the collar for a while. Eventually she will get used to it and you will be forgiven!

This is probably normal behavior until she grows into the collar; however you may want to try something different, perhaps a harness instead of a neck collar or vice versa depending what you are using a harness.
I know with my dog it took awhile for her to get use to her new harness. She would try to scratch it, bite it, chew it off. Now she's use to it a bit, but I would say I have to give her awhile longer. Good Luck.

make sure it isn't too loose or too tight. Put a soft puppy collar on her and play with her to take her mind off it. Don't try lead training her until she uis comfortable with the collar.

Just keep persisting, they do eventually get use to it. Try putting collar on for short periods of time and playing with your pup, rewarding him for ignoring the collar.

Don't worry that is normal behavoiur, however, you should try and get your puppy to associate the colar with something good, like going for walks or getting a nice treat if she lets you put it on. All dogs eventually get over it, however some are more resistant than others and will take longer to get used to wearing one. The sooner she realises that she has to wear one to go out the sooner you will get her to accept it.

It is normal. Like us getting used to wearing a watch, she needs to get used to wearing her collar--its new to her now, but truly wont take her long to get used to. I do know that my dog likes leather collars better than the nylon ones. Good luck.

I would leave it on, my min pins are the same way when we put a collar on them for the first time, so dont take it off and leave it on and she will get use to it and then when she is use to it she wont like it when its off, the only way she will get use to it is if you leave it on,, Happy New Year and good luck with your new boxer

normal behaviour ........ build the time you put it on her. Start with a minute and move it up from their! Eventually she'll get use to it. My sis went through 2 collars with her jack russell puppy before she got use to wearing one!
