I am looking for various highly recommended makes, models and prices. Of course, I want the most features for the least amount of money. I don't mind spending the money, I know they are not cheap, but I want one that is versatile and that I can use several times a week. Any suggestions and feedback are appreciated. Thansk in adavance!!!

I bake lots of bread. Burger buns, hotdog buns, French, sandwich, pizza, you name it. I'd suggest that instead of buying a breadmaker that you invest in a good stand mixer like those made by Kitchen Aid and bake your breads in the oven. I've never had machine made bread that I ever thought was worth the effort. The stand mixer will not only be more valuable for making just bread but for a gazillion other things as well. You'll get far more use out of the mixer. Another alternative is to get a good food processor like a Cuisinart or Kitchen Aid. They do a very good job of kneading dough too. Everyone I know who ever had a bread machine used them for while and then relegated them to the closet.

I have owned two breadmakers, and had terrible problems with both in terms of inconsistent performance and/or failing to work at all. I would never buy another one.
