Lactic acid released into blood mainly from muscles, it causes fall in pH. This furthe leads to vasodilatation and causes increased blood suply...
However the pH remains constant for some time as the buffer system like plasma proteins, Hb, Bicarbonate, phosphate buffers act.. Lungs act by regulacting the carbon dioxide levels of the blood.. Kidneys act by the regulating the excretion of ions...

But if the amount of lactic acid increases a lot, it leads to Lactic acidosis...

When there is lactic acid build up in your blood you become tired, out of breath. Usually your blood pH drops because it becomes acidotic secondary to lactic acidosis. Extra oxygen is the best remedy for this.

However, your blood has a buffer system that will take effect to protect your body's homeostasis. So, your body will release a lot of bicarbonate ions in an effort to balance your pH back to normal levels and restore homeostasis.
