Deaut.13: If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,
2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;
3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
4 Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.

Mat.7:15 ¶ Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall aknow them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth devil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 ¶ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity

24 ¶ Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

He must be in agreement with the teachings of Christ. His works will reflect this.....again he must be in agreement with the God and his works must reflect this....again Christ taught that a prophet of God is in agreement with his word his deeds will reflect this.

Christians tell by the Holy Spirit, which convinces them what is righteous, what is wicked, what is of Christ, and what is foreign.

you have asked the question to a wrong group of people. Ask a Hindu and he will tell you that God id capable enough to do his own work and he doesn't sent messengers. Those messengers are usually illiterate and probably can't read or write either. So, what happens that their followers make up a bunch of stories about them once they are gone. They hire people and sale those books all over the world like those who sale encyclopedias. It's all recycled material that they try to sale as their own. A true word of god can NEVER divide people and that's the test if a word is god's or nor.

God has created you before, and you will return back to your God, and your God will ask you about your deeds, and then you will be in the paradise or the hell and never die.
If you worshiped your only creator as he asked you to do, you will be in the paradise.
If not you will be in the hell.
God sent to humans messengers and prophets to tell people that there is no God but the only one God"Allah", and to teach people how to worship their God.
God has supported his messengers and prophets with miracles to prove that they are telling the truth.
No one is a prophet or messenger except he has a proof of this.
Jesus "peace be upon him" cured the ill (after God had permitted him to do so), and other miracles that I can't mention all.
Mohammad "peace be upon him" was supported by many miracles like splitting the moon.
And the great miracle to Mohammad "peace be upon him" is the Quran, which is God words, and of course God words is unlike any other words, and Quran will last unmodified as God had promised to do. And in the Quran there are many miracles, that prove that it is not a human that told it, and that God"Allah" only could say it.

For Christians, we know if someone is a prophet because they will not say anything supposedly from God that is contrary to the Bible's teachings and because what they say will come true 100% of the time. For Jews, it is pretty much the same way (I think the old testament mentions the rules regarding how to discern false prophet from a real one).

First, know this.
Faith begins inside you. It is yours to give to that which you believe as truth. The book you read brings only an outline of the religious structure. True Faith is seeded in your spirit. You will find your belief as a feeling.
Muhammed, Jesus and Moses all had people that believed what they spoke was truth. The Qur'an, Bible and Torah all speak about what these people believed as truth.
There is no false faith. Religions are based in the belief that they are truth.
The truth of writings or words is quit honestly, based in the belief of the prophets.

a. a true Prophet is a man who ask of nothing from any body but (Allah, God, Rab, lord) and when he ask God He only ask for his mercy, not gold, wealth, power or even health. , and ask of us to know that there is only one God who has no partners. and the reason that God created humankind was so that we might worship him.

b. About your next question you know that the word is right if it the book is still in it's oraginal language and at least 60% know those Word by heart

I read in the Bible that you know a person is a Prophet when what he/she says comes true. As for being a man of God: that person is VERY unpopular when it comes to what comes out of his/her mouth. Truth is a hard pill to swallow, and judgment on your personal life is something that no one wants to hear about.

read the bible. you will understand soon enough, just as long as you keep your heart open. the jewish religion is not true,b/c they belive that the meissah has not come yet. the bible explains that jesus is the meissah and he has come and died on the cross born of the virgin mary and rose again. god is true, muslims religion, not true, they belive in a total different aspect. you have to believe that god sent his son to die on the cross for our sins and rose again on the 3rd day and that god is real. trust and allow him into your heart. and you will live eternally.
