I live across the street from a retirement home, sometimes I take a shortcut through the building, I did that today and after I got home I was talking to my mom and she said that her sister, who lives there, had the flu and that others had it too, how is the flu spread? Could I have caught it even though I did'nt touch anything on my way through? My arms were full so I used my back to open the doors.

Well.....you could have caught it, you'll know if you have it...your body will tell you.

Aches, pains, fever, etc.....

you catch the flu and germs thru airborne thru your nostrils which then when you breath goes thru your system. Also when you touch door knobs, etc then touch your mouth, nose, the germ is there until you wash your hands. The worse place to catch the flu is in a nursing home, or a home for adults. It takes about 6 to 12 hours to catch the flu. Start using hand sanitizer works wonders.

Do you cut through other random people's houses or businesses if they are between you and your destination?
