Get the Pontiac, it would be far cheaper and easier to maintain as it is an american automobile. The catera is australian made I think- a Holden (GM Australia if I remember correctly). And parts are nightmarishly priced. Just call any Auto Zone or Advanced Auto and compare part prices. For example; A brake rotor for the Pontiac may be something like $35-45 dollars, as opposed to the Catera brake rotor being $99-149 a piece. More importantly, your insurance would be much MUCH cheaper if you chose the Pontiac.

If you're a conservative dude, I would say the Catera...but since they stopped making them...that means you will have to deal with aftermarket and mechanics...you can put some rims on that....20's ..with Vogues, a nice sound system...maybe tint the windows but me, I would go for the Grand Prix...a friend of my family had one...he let me drive it as a teen...it was the closest thang to a GTO Pontiac had during the early 90's...it had digital readout, a sleek body style, and everything....I felt like a stock car driver...get it in Black...with Black interior, you can get bodykits for it...even change the rims and tires...maybe some good brakes...it's a good little used car...you still see them on the streets..it's all GM...so there is chance of getting a lemon..hopefully, you won't have any electronic problems

at the start, eastern vehicles can suck my cock. they're for tree huggers who do not care approximately overall performance or sort. i could say the Grand Prix as a results of fact it somewhat is meant to be extra extreme overall performance than the Cadillac Catera. The Catera is extra for cruising in college.

Grand Prix. Does not matter what model just as long as the engine is the 3.8 liter(Very Good Engine). The police have these in there cars. The Cadillac are more expensive to fix.
