i really need advice. what if he asks me out? what do i say?

the last time i asked this question i got one answer. i need more than one becuz i need different points of view from different people. one answer doesnt help me at all. this is going to be very long and probably wont fit. ill just add additional details. anyways before winter break was here there was this big secret going on. no one would tell me it. it was (ill call him GH) GH's secret. no one would tell me what it was. even though it was supposedly a secret everyone knew but me. i kept asking what it was. my friend sarah knew but wouldnt tell me becuz she was friends with "GH". he told her not to tell me. i didnt understand it cuz me and "GH" were sorta friends and we talked some. we werent like good friends so dating wouldnt ruin any big friendship or anything. anyways i started to wonder if it was something bad about me. the reason i thought that was becuz he would tell everyone but me. anyways i kinda just kept asking sarah over and over. she wouldnt tell me. she told me she woul

she told me she would tell me when she got home and could call me. i said okay but i told her i wanted to know now. she said okay and asked "GH" if she could tell me. he said okay and she told me he liked me. i never wouldve thought that was it. he flirted a lot but he has a flirty personality so thats all i thought it was. now i think hes gonna ask me out when we get off winter break and i dont know what im gonna say. i sorta like him but i dont know about dating. help?

HA! the first answer was hilarious. no im not 9. surprsingly i actually fooled one guy and he thought i was 20. im 11. see how that works? while YOU think i seem 9 people have complimented me on my intelligence of someone YEARS older than me. i deal with problems that any 11 year old does. oh and i reported you for not only insulting me but for not answering my question.

Um, ok. If a guy asks you out you either say "Yes" or "No" depending on if you are interested in him or not.
As far as all of the other stuff you wrote, you won't be a young teenager forever and all of that type of crap will stop someday.

Absolutely! You should definitely go out with him. He likes you, and it's all too rare to feel genuinely LIKED by a guy. You're going in feeling good about yourself. He's paid you a compliment by noticing how nice you are, and you should return the favor by getting to know him.
Sure, you're friends, but guys behave differently when they're with the girl they're interested in. I think it sounds like fun, and even though he'll probably be really nervous and you won't be sure, you should go for it.
I'm 33, and have done my share of dating. I remember being young and not being sure about these things. Had I been more confident and more willing to just go with the flow and let myself be liked, I would have had even more wonderful experiences with some really nice guys. My advice is to be pleased, put on an outfit you love, go have a good time with him, and take things SLOWLY. Be sure you really like him, and give him a CHANCE to really show you who he is.
What have you got to lose? Nothing! It's only a date, and if he's a decent guy who's halfway interesting, you'll have a blast. Just relax.

you need to make a choice. do you like him or not. and if he does ask you and you realize that you like him,but you're not ready to date. If he truly cares about you he'll respect you decision if you say that you just want to be friends or if you tell him that you're just not ready.
