I always start jobs and when I don't like them I quit after 6 months to a year. I have never stayed at a job more than a year. That's the main reason I'm joining the military to have an adventure and move around and not stay in one place.

No. One of the previous posters mentioned about it possibily effecting the security clearence process but as long as you just quit and weren't fired for stealing or something even that shouldn't be a problem.

If you quit all your past jobs, no it won't affect your chances of getting into the military. But having said that, I wouldn't recommend it for you. You can't quit the armed forces and there's going to be a lot that you don't like and can't change. Duty stations for the continental US are 3 years and overseas are 2 years unaccompanied. You need to grow up first and realize that life isn't always going to be about you before you make such a big decision.

Generally speaking no. Depends on if you were the one that called it quits or you were fired. IF you are going into a field that requires a Top Secret clearance, it is possible it could be denied dependant on the reasons you may have been released from those jobs..

It shouldn't, but, I can tell you this will be one job you will not be able to quit. Think long and hard before you do. I hope you do though, I served 4 years and wished I had stayed in.

No. All you have to be is free of a criminal record, pass a background check, and pass the physical. A poor background might keep you from getting certain types of clearances like secret and top secret. Otherwise you're in!

These people are all wrong.

Having a large number of jobs, for a short period of time, will disqualify you. The recruiters will tell you to get a job and hold it for a year, then come back.
