people! you are not answering the question. I said what if.what if. You have to think as if the question i asked is already true. What if the whole world was kind and respectful to one another, would a hell and a heaven exist?

Yes! hell is designed to scare people into religion. So if everybody's nice but not converted, religions still need the threat of eternal torture to convince/retain believers.

Unfortunately, this will never happen. People are too different, and far too many are so narrow minded as to think their way is the only way. First you would have to get the Christians to respect everyone else's beliefs and opinions, and that in and of itself will never happen.
Not all religions believe that there is a heaven and a hell. Mine doesn't. If fact, most religions on Earth believe in some form of reincarnation, with there being an afterlife to assess your progress in your past life and where you are going in your next.
In my opinion, the threat of having to reap in your next life what you have sown in this life is more of a threat than going to "hell."

To me, if there were a hell, it is right here on earth. I can't believe there is a worse place than a place where parents abuse their children, and you can be killed for being the "wrong" color, nationality, religion or whatever.

OK, I just read your clarification. Yes, heaven and hell would still be necessary. For the main reason I stated before; people are too different. The human being is a very selfish creature. It takes a lot of self discipline and a commitment to be selfless. Some people have no problem betraying their friends. Unfortunately, as clergy, I see this every day. People stab their friends in the back for less than $5.00.
If there were no "heaven" or "hell," there would be no motivation for these individuals to continue to treat everyone else with respect.
Because your world started out this way, doesn't mean it could possibly remain as such.

Yes, there still would be a need for Heaven and Hell for the purpose of everyone knowing that if they don't obey Gods law, there is eternal punishmet so then everyone would strive to be good. In other words you know there are cops out there you want to steal you may get caught. The knowledge you have that they're there could stop you from stealing so you won't get caught and go to jail. Heaven an eternal reward, Hell an eternal punishment. We need Heaven and Hell as guidance.

Yes - Hell was created for Satan and his fallen angels.

Heaven is where God lives.

If everyone treated everyone else with respect and kindness, WITHOUT SIN, God would bring heaven to earth today if we accepted His Son Jesus Christ as our Savior. It wasn't what we did that brought sin. Adam and Eve disobeyed God and brought sin. Therefore a Savior is needed to take away the sins of the world.

Heaven and hell are fixed and there is a need for them without having anything to do with us.

We can't be good enough to save ourselves. We are born in sin, because I had a mother, father, grandma, grandpa, that went all the way back to Eve. We are sinners until Jesus washes our sins away. We must choose to accept Jesus or deny Jesus.

It is kinda like it is God's way or the Highway. We can't "what if it" so we can have it our way.

There is no need for anything and almost everything exists because of what God wants. That was his plan from the beginning for us to just lounge around and be happy on earth. Hell was made for Satan and the fallen angels but became open for us when sin came along. Heaven was made for God's pleasure and it is the ultimate place for anyone to be.

In my perspective there is no hell. In the Bible it says numerous times that God foregives all men. He forgives the sinner, he loves all of his children. Say your "perfect world" existed and that everyone lived in harmony with one another. You are talking about a world in which sinning does not exist. In this world people would not have to be punnished. People would simply love one another as the bible says and God truely would bless everyone because they would be following his world exactly. So there would be a need for heaven. That is home in the end for us. But hell... no. Even if hell exists there would be no need for it anymore. Satin would be out of the job and would simply siece to exist because people would forget about him. the sad thing is though that that is impossable. A world like that just simply can not exist because also in the bible it spoke about how the world was always going to be afflicted with dissease, sin, and all of those horrable things that people are tormented with each day. But like I said before, we are all gods children and he will not cast us out. So there is no hell in the first place. He is ready to welcome his children HOME when its our time to go.

A need? there will always be a heaven or hell. Hell would just be empty ecept for the people before the world was nice to eachother.

John said it best…

“Imagine there no Heaven, it isn’t hard if you try, no Hell below us above us only sky. Imagine all the people living life in peace. You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one. Maybe someday you’ll join us and the world will be as one.”

It does not matter how good we are. It is not our goodness and kindness and respect that gives us permission to enter heaven. The Bible teaches that we are born in sin... For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.... and that the 'wages of sin is death'. So... even if we are good people, we are still sinners. God however, gives us a solution for the sin in Jesus Christ. "For God so loved the world (all us sinners) that He gave His only begooton Son, that whosoever believes on Him should have everlasting life." When we come to Jesus, ask Him to forgive us, He removes our sin and makes us ready for heaven. Our failure to accept leaves us outside. God never intended hell for mankind. It was designed for Satan and the fallen angels. Man will find himself there by filing to accept God's Son, by failing to repent and live for God. It is a choice and we all must make it.

Since there is such division on earth because of Satan's influence God prepared Hell for Satan. The kingdom of heaven is for everyone that wants to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Choices. We have choices.

When God created Earth and then Adam and Eve He walked with them in the cool of the evening. It was after Adam's and Eve's sin and fall of mankind that everything changed. So I guess I would say if Adam and Eve had not fallen the world would have stayed the perfect place it was because sin was not there.
