I'm looking for the best prices to get to Greece - on the major sites I found round trips for about $650/person and this was confirmed on http://www.utopia.worldventures.com . Bargaintravel listed prices at about $500, which obviously is better, but is the good deal and unsecured website simply a ruse for a scam or is the service legit? i can't find a phone number on the site to call anyone so hopefully someone who has used them can provide useful insight. thanks in advance.

Bargaintravel.com did have a phone number buried on the site so I will try that tomorrow. What makes me the most hesitant about this site is the various spelling mistakes that appear periodically. It may or may not be secure since IE7 has apparently moved the "lock" somewhere other than the bottom of the screen. For a site that advertises to be around since 2001, there is little I have been able to find on it, hence turning to this site as an additional search resource.
The first answer provides good general internet advice for novices (that is, be wary of some e-commerce sites), but it doesn't answer the question. To be more specific, I am looking for some testimonials from people who have used the bargaintravel.com service, recent and independent news references about it, its fare link "farebuzz.com" or its parent company Netporium LLC. Whether I give such testimonials any weight is discretionary, but at least it will indicate whether the company is what it purports to be.
