Malaysia (in S E Asia) sells itself as "truly asia" because it's populated with 3 main ethnic groups: malays (58%), chinese (29%), indians (11%). Most other countries in Asia are made up of homogeneous people: India, Thailand, China, Japan, Vietnam etc. So which culture interests you most? Top Asian countries for tourism include Japan, China, Hong Kong, S Korea, Thailand, Singapore with Vietnam getting to be popular.

first of all, know your budget. are you going back packing or luxury travel?
asia is a big continent of so many different countries. do some research first, to match your interest. is it cultural or nature or anything else?
if you like the combination of culture and nature, i recomend indonesia or malaysia.

Thailand that place is crazy and they have Very beautiful woman be careful tho they do have a high population of tranny's.. and thats why a lot of the girls love American men because its not common that we do that.

i went to northern thailand a couple years ago, have some pics on my yahoo 360. It was fun, interesting, relatively cheap, and id recommend it.
