He has set the situation so that you can prevent the medication induced abortion of an embryo within a young woman or the euthanasia of Koko (the sign language gorilla http://www.koko.org/ ).

That is all you know. And you have to act.

Yes, that means that you don't know that the woman chose to be there anymore than Koko did. Therefore, I reject any answer that simply assumes she is there of her own accord, because that is unclear.

THIS IS A REVISION OF THE QUESTION.

Ruthie, I'm the story teller here, and in that case, both events occurs within seconds.

Okay I am going to take a weird/neutral approach to this (leaving my personal views aside) I would CHOOSE to do nothing.

From the little information you provide, I can only assume certain variables:
1 the woman chose to seek out medical treatment for an abortion, therefore why should I intervene. (Hey for all I know, she could be a devote Christian that found out she is carrying the anti-Christ and is wanting to stop the endtimes.)
2 If Koko is being euthanized, it must be for some reason, right? (For all I know Koko could be the carrier of the next plague and if she breathes on people they will die.)

So with both of those unknowns as POSSIBILITIES why do anything??
**Like I said I am leaving my personal views aside and looking at why either of these situations may logically be taking place. I know you said that it is unclear as to the woman being there of her own accord, but via the laws of this country a woman cannot be forced into an abortion, not even if to save her life.

Edit** If there is no reason to be assumed as to why either event is occurring, other than the scientist is "mad" then I would just kill the scientist.

Okay, you put me in the position to choose, but I don't have to submit to your press to choose. I choose RESISTANCE! I would not want to kill KOKO or the baby. I act by resistance to your pressure. I fight for both of their liberty, for truth, justice and the American way for freedom! I think of an escape plan and free them both to live happily ever after!
