i have a kinda long looking face, its oval. my hair is puffy and wavy.
i can straighten it though. but it will curl during the day.the lentth of it now is a little pat my shoulders, i do have bangs buit you cant really tell. any hair style ideas?

If you have natural curl or waves just get it lightly layered kinda like the woman on CSI New York, Melina Kanacaridis. Her hair always looks amazing!! and i can tell hers is natural curly so some light layers ought to do it Good Luck!!!! Just ask your stylist if she knows the haircut and if not there has to be a magazine somewhere with her pic in it!!!!!!!

i had the same problem, my face is somewhat oval. last year i cut my hair really short-really short the sides, a little longer at the back and long on the top (faux hawk)- and my face changed through that it stands out more and it doesnt look as long.

You probably will hate this (I know I do), but keep the wavy. Many would kill for wavy hair (so everyone keeps telling me).
I think that it depends on how you feel. Sometimes a haircut can pick you up if you are feeling a bit down, or a bit "dowdy" (showing my age there)

since your face is long, layers are the last thing you want. depends on your nose, placement of the eyes, the length could be anywhere. but the classic bob looks great on everyone!! good luck!

well this was idea i saw on tyra where this lady took a polariod picture of herself in a black background and what she did was take a black marker and color in how short she wanted her hair to be. you can to that but u don't think you need a black background. you can use any picture of you as long as it shows your hair on your in front of you.
as for hair styles you would just have to look at hair style you would like to try and try and picture yourself with it with honesty. its a hard thing to do

Get yourself to a good salon and they will help you with a cut to suit your face and products that will keep your hair the way you want it.

well if you want to cut it keep it to your shoulders no shorter that way even if you leave it curly it doesn't look bad. that's what i did and it was the best decision i have ever made.
