Well you wouldn't use spaghetti sauce on French Fries?
Spaghetti sauce has: garlic, onion, bell pepper, basil, oregano, tomatoes, tomato paste. These are the ingredients that make up a fine spaghetti sauce. Ketchup or Catsup is make with tomatoes and sugar. Good luck and good eating, and
HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Your right about the tomatoes used in making the products, but ketchup is made very differently than your regular tomato sauce. I wouldn't go for it.

Well, if you want to...but i dont think it would taste good..
Sauce is made of lots of things...tomatoe, salt, pepper,
But ketchup os more of..mm...Fries and burgers and stuff..
Youcan use Sauya Sauce..it is better...or if you dont have sauce and want to make spaghetti...then when the spaghetti is cooked,,,filter the water...and a spoon of butter, salt. and some cheese..and u get a delicious italian dish...

You would be better off using tomato sauce and add some Italian seasoning to it. Ketchup would give it an unusual flavor.

are you kidding? that is sooo americano! unitalian!!! you may as well put salt instead of sugar for cake! hey, how bout ketchup for ice cream as strawberry syrup? no tomatoes but they are both RED. sorry, don't mean to be rude but to an italian, oy vey! ketchup is great for bugers and fries, but for pasta! you need garlic, onions, oregano spices, seasoning, the good stuff.

You can -- but I would add some garlic salt, basil, oregano, and other Italian spices to it. I would also add some basalmic vinegar and maybe some cooking sherry. If you are trying to save money by not buying sauce, you might not end up saving any money unless you have all of those ingredients on hand. You might also want to add some meat or vegetables.

You could--but its not likely to taste very good.
Ketchup is based on tomatoes, of course--but it also includes a good deal of sugar and spices. Those spices, especially, aren't likely to improve the spaghetti any.

you could put any thing on it but you may try by thinning it down some with water and adding spices like oregano basil and garlic. but it wont taste the same because ketchup is very sweet
