No, plus there is still time for it to work, give it a chance and then Thursday if it STILL hasn't worked, then call the vet and tell them what you got and and how much you gave her, ask if you should give her more.

You got the wormer from the VET or the STORE??? Usually OTC means you got it someplace other than the vets.
Strongid is USUALLY given once every 14 days. Sometimes it is given three days in a row and then once in 14 days after the first does.
Didn't the vet tell you what to do?? The vets would not tell you to wait a week and repeat Strongid. It needs to be 14 days.

OK...THAT explains a little more. Yes, follow the vet guidelines!! On Thursday, give the first dose of Strongid. Then follow up with the second dose in 14 days.

Do NOT use OTC dewormers.they are worthles plus they are dangerous to use on your pet. Use only the appropriate dewormer from your vet. Depending on the type of worms your puppy has the dewormer you used may or may not be effective. You should take a stool sample in to the vet and get a fecal test done. This will tell you what type(s) of worms you are dealing with and the vet can then dispense the appropriate dewormer.
