That's right. nvidia doesn't post the drivers for their 4 series mobile chips online. In fact they used to never post the drivers for any of their mobile chips. You will only find the drivers for the Geforce go 7 series online but not the 4 series, FX series or 6 series are online.

In order to get the latest drivers for that particular card, you need to go through the manufacturer of your computer (HP, Compaq, et al to get the drivers). nvidia doesn't have them available for download and they never did and never will.

I know it's annoying but the normal Geforce driver won't work on the Geforce 4 go series either. Do what I said and you should be able to find one. It also doesn't mean there is an updated version but you'll only find that out until you check.

Look for the graphics card on nvidia.com at like support and downloads and put down the information on the website like lets say there was a tab that says graphics go to like notebook then go to like Nvidia GeForce4 440go then get the latest driver for it. uninstall your old one (go to system properties hardware device manager display drivers) then look for where you could uninstall it. you will have to restart your computer then click no for the installation thing when you start up and then go to where you saved the update for your video card and follow the onscreen things and then when your finished you'll be done i think! If that doesnt work sorry. That worked for me when i was trying to play the sims 2 on my laptop and then it all worked!

right click on your "my computer" icon on the desktopand click properties. Now, click on "hardware", now click on "devise manager", go down the list untill you see the devise you want the driver for, right click and click "update driver". Let microsoft search and install the driver automaticlly. Good luck. Mikie.

Use http://www.nvidia.com/ but make sure you have everything right, such as your OS, or else it won't work.
