Well it depends on what kindof lotion it is.
I perfer brushing your lips and then put vasaline on. It really works! I've seens it on the Tyra Banks show.
If you perfer something else then just put some carmex on or blistex daily.
Take Care

You should get Burt's Bees beeswax lip balm. You can get it at a drug store like Walgreens. Prolly Walmart too. But it works really good! I have really chapped lips and Carmex or anything didnt help it.

Yes, especially if you use something unscented. Carmac lip balm seems to work pretty well, too. And make sure you are drinking plenty of water. You may be a bit dehydrated.

lotion helps some, but the 'best thing I have found, and use
instead of chapstick (which doesn't work as well) is good old
'bees wax'.
I got mine from a health food store, and you should be able to as well.
It has no taste or smell and works 'really great'.
Hope this has helped.

Only a little and sometimes tje sented kinds make your lips burn. This sounds gross but crisco shorting helps chapped lips.

Kiehl's Lip Balm #1.

The best by far, recommended in beauty magazines by a lot of Hollywood stars and it really works.

It might help to soften them a bit. The best remedy is to DRINK MORE WATER, get plenty of vitamins, stay out of the sun, and don't chew on them.
