We didn't ask you because we wanted a considered, well thought out answer to the question. We didn't think you could provide that.
Actually, at the time of the last election, it was known that staying in the EU as it enlarged would give Eastern Europeans the opportunity and right to come to work in the UK. The majority of people voted for pro-European parties and therefore sanctioned this.
On a practical basis, I find an influx of people into this country who want to work hard to improve their lot refreshing. If you've visited a service station in UK recently, you're likely be served by young Eastern Europeans who are polite, clean and helpful. It's a nice change from grubby, surly, resentful Britons.
Can we keep the hardworking Poles and send the feckless scrounging Brits to Eastern Europe?

Edward Heath is partly responsible, for taking the Britain into the European Union under false pretext! He lied to the British public. Consecutive Governments have continued the "lie". Mass immigration is set to continue as more and more countries join the EU,wanting a share of the "money"There is only one way this can be stopped, and that's to stop voting for the three main political parties! At the next General Election, make sure you vote, above all make sure its the right choice!!

Would these be the same Eastern Europeans who saved Britain's *** in the battle of Britain and stopped the german invasion? That's right folks, how quickly you forget. It was the Poles, and the Czechs and other Eastern Europeans that were outgunning the Germans in those Spitfires and hurricanes. The Polish had more kills than any other country during the battle of Britain, and thanks to them you are lucky to have a bloody country!
And secondly, who asked the Spanish if they want so many hundreds of thousands of immigrants coming from britain to their country, or indeed the germans, or the italians, Australians etc. If you don't want Eastern Europeans working in your country, you shouldn't expect british people to be able to work in other countries, stealling jobs in those countries!!! Are you going to take all these people back to britain?

Believe me nobody in the UK can ever remember saying yes on the referendum to join the EU. Everybody asked says they voted no. This is because our goverment rides roughshod over our desires. Think of this, if we have sold off all our national assets and the EU dictates our laws etc, why do we need a national government ????

You know what, we had an election a couple of years back, after the Poles started coming, you had a choice then, as we all did. Way back when, we even had a referendum about staying in the EU. I'm not saying our democracy's perfect, very far from it, but at the end of the day it's up to us to get out and vote, to join political parties, to debate instead of just whining.

Maybe your Gov doesn't care about you any more than ours cares about us?
Funny to think of all the people from all countries in Europe and the USs who fought, died endured horrible miser, to be sure no one from any other country, came and took over, invaided their country at the time.
I really don't get it unless there are some guys at the top who think that they can make the whole world pay homage to their bank accounts and to Heck with patriotism and some sort of cultural justice/law and order.
My best of luck to you and yours. We are going to need some prayers too.

We don't have to ask. We just elect politicians at the polls and tell them to go ahead and do what they want to do. They think that we do not know what we want anyway. Only they know what we want.
Yeah, Right.
